My heart has always been for kids who have been abused, neglected, or in some other way marginalised or exploited. These kids either don't have the ability to speak up for themselves, or they are not being heard by the adults around them who should be listening. I've been a missionary since 1997, running Discipleship Training Schools for about 20 years with Youth With a Mission. I also was the founding director of Justice Reach, which was a YWAM ministry focused on justice issues, with a particular emphasis on human trafficking and children who have been trapped in the sex industry. This ministry ran for 8 years during which time we led justice-focused DTS's and had the opportunity to come alongside organisations directly involved in stopping child trafficking in Southeast Asia.
I am now working full-time in New Zealand, focusing on adoption and abortion issues here in this nation. It's early days, but I know God has placed me here for this time, and look forward to how he lays out his plan for this amazing country and its children. New Zealand has some of the highest rates in the world per capita of domestic violence, teen suicide, and child abuse. We also have one of the most radical abortion laws in the world. There is much work to be done.
It would be awesome to partner with you! If you would prayerfully consider joining my financial support team it would be much appreciated!
